Due to the large number of applications, we unfortunately don’t have time to have a nice chat on the phone first. If we like something, we will definitely get in touch. Our concept:
We only play artists whose music or performance really touches us and pleases us, and then we put a lot of effort into creating a great event. We concentrate on small, rather acoustic acts with mainly own material (i.e. no covers or tribute projects), who tour as rarely as possible in our region, so that we can set ourselves apart from other stages in the region. Exceptions are local artists who are very friendly with us and actively support the KulturGUT as guests, those have a good chance of performing with us. If you look at the list (see below) of the artists who perform with us, you can get a feeling of what kind of music we like to have here. In the end, it is simply our personal „taste“ that decides. So if we don’t give artists the opportunity to perform at KulturGUT, this is not to be understood as a judgement. Not everything fits. Basically, we're not really into heavy metal, punk, country, pop and trad. blues.

We will contact you in any case if we are interested. As active musicians, we know the hard side of booking. However, as we run our cabaret stage alongside our normal activities, we ask you to refrain from calling us at weekends and making more enquiries. At some point, we also need to recharge our batteries and rest. We also ask you to refrain from discussions like: „But XY also plays with you and I’m so wonderful etc pp“…. . Yes means yes and no means no.
It’s best to add links to your performances on Youtube etc. to your performance requests by email. We’ll be happy to take a look and listen in.

Here is the information about our conditions/equipment:
Our admission price is currently 18 – 25 euros. Of the gross proceeds (= ticket price times tickets sold minus 7 % VAT [if the artist is exempt from VAT or liable to pay tax abroad]. and minus transaction fees e.g. paypal etc ) a share to be agreed upon (between approx. 50-60% ) goes to the artist. We pay Gema, and we also pay our contribution to the Künstlersozialkasse. So you don’t get rich
We have about 60-90 seats, which are often sold out. The stage is 5×2 m, so it’s more suitable for smaller acts.

A very good AER PA system, Midas MR18 or Soundcraft digital mixer, several monitor ways and a simple light (one chaser and 4 LED incl. small light desk) are available. A separate PA system is therefore not required and can only be used by prior arrangement. Further details can be found under technical equipment.

We do not have a real backstage area, but a retreat for eating, staying and changing in the house. For artists known to us, we also offer a guest room in the house.

There is affordable accommodation within walking distance. Catering is done in-house.
We are a small private organiser and receive many applications per month. As we only organise a maximum of 2 events per month, we cannot consider all artists and ask for your understanding if it takes us a little longer to reply – we hardly manage to listen to everything in time!
